iPadre #115 - Office Hours
by ipadre ~ June 9th, 2008
We cover a lot in today’s show. The main topic is the Liturgy of the Hours. In feedback we talk about the Book of Revelation, the Gnostic Gospels, UFO’s, the Mark of the Beast and the Anti-Christ.

You sounded tired but you did say you were doing it late. Do not get too tired!
I agree Holy Spirit is very underrated in the Catholic tradition. I had to wait for thirty years before I got the experiance of the holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the living faith the encourager and the enticer all in one.
Inventory psalm Psalm 95 is my favourite in the Benedcitne hours not sure how differnt it is from the Roman hours. (You answered it as I wrote this they are similar as i am listening as i type !) Compline is a reflection of the past day and how it gone and it is a chnce to give it back to God all that gone on in my view. It is a nice end to the day.
Did you know where your picture came from I think it is from a film called the great silence. It took the film maker 15 year since he approached the abbot as it is an enclosed order. It is almost all silent except for an interview with an old blind monk it is very moving for it simplicity
Lovely I sang a duet of salve with you nice touch to end with compline.
I needed compline faith is tricky at the moment please pary for me
How long should it take to get to itunesfed becasue it now monday and it still has not come up?

Fr, I just got to listen to podcast #115 Office Hours. Thanks! It was good, I enjoyed you putting the prayer on the end. I think ending each podcast with a prayer of some sort is a keeper idea. I’ve been able to share your podcast with a couple of guys deployed with me, with any luck you’ll get a good following over here in Iraq. I noticed #116 is available now, I’m downloading it now, can’t wait to listen. God Bless, you are in my prayers.

Hi Father Jay!
It’s been awhile since I last messaged you. A lot has happened to me with regard to my faith. I wanted you to know, that you planted many seeds in my bed of faith and am happy to say, I am approaching the threshold of my entering the aspirancy for the deacon formation program here in Seattle. Thank you so much for your ministry, but most of all, your sharing of your great faith and love of our church. I would love it if you could visit my blog some time. That goes for anyone that listens or reads your blog. I would be honored to have your blog listed on mine.
May God’s Blessings Be With You.
