Father Frank Pavone of Priests for Life Leads Covert Mission to Rescue Baby Joseph
Even in the midst of the great darkness in our world, with all of the tragedy and difficulties, there is a great amount of good happening. When we see evil, we can be sure that God’s grace is working in much more powerful ways in place we do not see. God doesn’t work like in Hollywood. He came to us in the secret of a stable in the little village of Bethlehem. And so today, He still works in hidden and remarkable ways. Check out this great story! My comments in bold red.
“Under cover of darkness, Father Frank Pavone, Father 007 national director of Priests for Life, arrived in Ontario, Canada, Sunday night to rescue Baby Joseph Maraachli from the London Health Sciences Centre. It is scary to think that those whose work is to save life are so ready to end it for the weakest and most in need! For two weeks, doctors at the hospital in London, Ontario, have been delaying the baby’s transfer to a hospital where efforts to save his life will not be officially labeled “futile.”
“I knew, after this dragged on day after day, that I needed to be here myself to get Baby Joseph to safety,” said Father Pavone. “He needs to be in a hospital that cherishes life over the bottom line. Life before money, period. After around-the-clock negotiations, When negotiations fail, we must do anything possible to save human life! Even if it means placing our comfort and safety in harms way. this really became a race against time.” Father Pavone was accompanied by Priests for Life staff, who were there to assure the transfer proceeded smoothly.”

Awesome work Fr. Pavone! Let us all offer a special prayer for Fr. Pavone and all the staff at Priests for Life.
