Apparition of Our Lady in Rome — 1 Comment

  1. It is interesting that the the colours of Our Lady’s Dress echo those of her apparition at Tepeyac as Our Lady of Guadalupe in 1531 in Mexico, where she can be identified as “The Woman clothed with the sun, the moon beneath her feet.” (Rev. 12: 1-2)
She wears a blue-green mantle, with pink (or rose) color– both colors of the Holy Spirit: a pink sash at Tre Fontaine, a pink tunic at Tepeyac.
Liturgically “rose” denotes rejoicing in a season of sorrow, and is used once during Advent and once during Lent.
