I just returned from the Catholic New Media Celebration in San Antonio, Texas. There were many great talks, but one of the most important parts was our fellowship. Meeting many of our listeners and fellow podcasters, bloggers, and every other area of the new media ministry. You can see the talk that I and Fr. Bill Kessler here. This past Saturday, I celebrated my anniversary and attended the ordination of two new priests in my diocese. On Friday, we will enter into a special Year of the Priest and the Holy Father has extended special indulgences to both priests and laity. We’ll talk about the priesthood and the Year of the Priest.

The mystery of the Most Holy Trinity is great indeed. It is something that theologians and philosophers have grappled with for centuries. People have died to defend this mystery and others have fought to refute it. A proper understanding of the Trinity is very important, but just as important is the reason God revealed Himself.
